Recommended Dosage:

3 to 5 g powder of dried root.

Contraindication:

This herb is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation. Large doses may cause vomiting and diarrhoea with abdominal pain.

Jatamansi also acts on liver and digestive system. It increases appetite, decreases bloating, reduces abdominal pain and intestinal inflammation.

Jatamansi preparations can be used to improve the skin complexion and ensures a glowing and youthful appearance.

Jatamansi reduces menopause symptoms like mood swings, sleep disturbance, difficulty in concentrating, memory lapses, headaches, irritability, dizziness, fatigue, stress, anxiety and tingling extremities. In these symptoms, it can help and induces feeling of general well-being.
